Q&A: Overview

How does your resort compare with others in the area?
We have a 100% Health Department Rating for cleanliness and meeting and/or exceeding all WV state health department codes. The local Health Department has deemed Berkeley Springs Spa and Inn the cleanest lodging establishment in the county!  We are the only establishment that guarantees all meals and spa services--no others can or will.  We are the only 100% non-smoking environment.  And, we are the only Couples-Only establishment.  Nearly 20 years in business have since many establishments come and go; we, fortunately, continue to grow annually while improving the property with new services and options.

What is the difference between a professional inn (Which We are Classified As) and a Bed and Breakfast?
The biggest difference is that our inn provides a complete experience, whereas a bed and breakfast generally includes lodging and a continental breakfast. Inns are a professionally executed business that is regulated by many local, state, and federal agencies.  We also offer dinner, and a full-service spa.  B&B's typically are in business for a year or two and are not in business long enough to be well established.  An inn, like ourselves, has been here for nearly 20 years and we continue to improve each year with more and more services and landscaping options.

Why do you not post your email address on your website?

After nearly 20 years of business and many email name changes later, we have learned to not post our email address on our website due to the simple fact we do not want "bad" email (spam, porn, etc...)

Why do you not have your traveling instructions on your website?

We email you our traveling instructions when your reservation is made and only then.  We do not post traveling instructions because we do not want any person on our property unless they are actual registered guest.  This is how we guarantee you and yours a quiet, uninterrupted romantic getaway--no one is allowed on the property except you, our guest.
